The pelvic floor is part of the “inner unit” that is the fundamental powerhouse in Pilates, but often remains a bit of a mystery for many Pilates students and instructors.
With a goal of demystifying the pelvic floor (um…do kegels really work?) we will learn about pelvic floor strengthening and relaxation (yup, you need both!), as well as some useful cues and exercises you can integrate into every Pilates class or workout.
